By registering for a GatherIRL account, linking your digital calendar, or accessing our scheduling and matchmaking services, you agree to compile with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access, use, or interact with GatherIRL. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

To use GatherIRL, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the authority to enter into a binding legal contract.

During account creation, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and credentials, and you agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

GatherIRL coordinates social gatherings by linking directly with your digital calendar (such as Google Calendar, Apple iCloud Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook).

You represent that you have the right to grant us access to any calendar you link to the service. You may disconnect your calendar integrations at any time via your account dashboard.

GatherIRL coordinates plan details, invites, and RSVPs on behalf of users via SMS text messaging. By providing your phone number, you explicitly consent to receive automated text messages from GatherIRL regarding coordination efforts.

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plans. Frequency of messages varies based on active group invitations and schedules.

You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message received. Disabling SMS services may limit your ability to coordinate and RSVP to group events on the platform.

GatherIRL is a tool for schedule alignment and venue recommendation. We suggest times and local establishments (such as restaurants, cafes, parks, or activity centers) based on geometric midpoints and group preferences.

You agree to exercise normal safety precautions when meeting individuals in public spaces. GatherIRL is not responsible for your interactions or safety during any offline physical meetup arranged via the platform.

GatherIRL is dedicated to reviving physical community. To maintain a safe and welcoming hearth, you agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against other users or venue staff.
• Use the service to coordinate fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive activities.
• Continually RSVP to gatherings and bail repeatedly without prior notification (which hurts community goodwill).
• Scrape data, reverse engineer, or attempt to compromise the security and stability of our servers.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, limit, or terminate the account of any user who violates these rules or compromises the trust of our physical community.

All code, software, visual layouts, styling, graphics, designs, logos, data, and trademarks displayed on the platform are the exclusive intellectual property of GatherIRL or its content providers. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access our platform solely for scheduling and personal coordination. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, or distribute any part of the site without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

GatherIRL, its officers, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the service exceed the amount paid by you, if any, to use GatherIRL during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that our calendar syncing will be 100% accurate, that suggested venues will be open or available, or that our service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from data loss or latency.

These Terms and any dispute arising from your use of the platform shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware.
